About Erin

Erin married her college sweetheart shortly after graduation and began a teaching career in Winston Salem while her husband finished medical school. His training took them across the state and back again, along the way Erin found her true passion in renovating and designing their homes and opening their doors and sharing these spaces entertaining family and friends.

After the birth of Anna Grace and twins Lilly and Claire, Erin retired from teaching and spent her time as a stay at home mom. More career moves followed for her husband and Erin continued to spend her extra energy remodeling and designing their family homes in Blowing Rock, Wilkesboro and Lake Norman. As her girls got older, Erin began to study interior design at the New York Institute of Art and Design and eventually decided to make her dream a reality and Erin Anderson Design was launched in 2016.

Erin enjoys eating out and date nights with her husband Steven, traveling with her family and spending weekends at their renovated cottage on Lake Norman. She spends her extra time running, driving her girls to dance, soccer and tennis and volunteering at their school.
